J.D. Vance


J.D. Vance grew up in Middletown, Ohio and is the author of the bestseller “Hillbilly Elegy: A Memoir of a Family and Culture in Crisis.” After high school, J.D. enlisted in the Marine Corps, serving in Iraq before returning stateside to continue his education at The Ohio State University and Yale Law School. He went on to become a successful investor before moving with his family back to Cincinnati, where he co-founded Narya Capital. J.D. and his wife Usha have three children. 

J.D. is running a competitive race against pro-abortion democrat Rep. Tim Ryan this fall. Ryan has an F on our National Pro-Life Scorecard.
