In Congress, July 4th, Two Thousand Twenty-Six
The Unanimous Declaration
of the Unborn
With abortion being the #1 cause of death in America, our nation’s promise to guarantee the right to Life is unfulfilled. The Declaration of Independence and our Constitution inspired great triumphs including the abolition of slavery and women’s suffrage, but 250 years in, our country has yet to address the most fundamental human rights battle of our time: protecting the very lives of the smallest Americans.
In 2022, the Supreme Court struck down Roe v. Wade and determined that the people’s representatives at all levels of government may now pass legislation to protect the unborn. This includes our national leaders. In the four years since that decision, half of the states have enacted pro-life laws—yet abortions have gone UP and not down in the United States. A “states-only” strategy on abortion doesn’t just fail, it is unjust. Where our people live does not determine whether or not they have the right to live.
