Fighting for Life in the Nation's Capital

Equipping Congress to Lead for Life

SBA Pro-Life America’s Federal Affairs team advances our major policy goals across the federal government. This includes advocating for key pro-life policies in the Executive branch as well as in the halls of the House and Senate. The team works to enact federal protections for the unborn, stop taxpayer funding of abortion and dangerous abortion drugs, and advance polices that support moms and protect unborn babies.

In the historic Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization decision, the United States Supreme Court gave the power to legislate on behalf of unborn children back to the people through their elected representatives. The Federal Affairs team equips Congress to lead for life.

National Pro-Life Scorecard

SBA’s Federal Affairs team maintains a National Pro-Life Scorecard that assigns every member of Congress, House and Senate, with a pro-life grade to inform Americans on where their members of Congress stand on life.  Since the inception of its scorecard in 2019, SBA Pro-Life America has scored 38 Senate votes and 34 House votes.
