This week was an exciting week for the Susan B. Anthony List, and the media noticed. We launched the “Votes Have Consequences” bus tour through the districts of “pro-life” dems who caved on abortion funding in health care, and the gigantic bus caught the attention of national and local media, along with protestors from Catholics United, a fake Catholic group which actively opposed efforts to add Hyde amendment language to the health care bill to ensure taxpayer dollars wouldn’t be used to pay for abortions.
The media also commented on the polling that we did in the districts of these formerly pro-life democrats- polling which showed for the most part that these incumbents who voted for abortion in health care are in clear danger of losing their seats.
