This week, press coverage of the Susan B. Anthony List “Life Speaking Out Campaign” continued. Stories highlighted our efforts to encourage the House GOP leadership to make protecting women and the unborn a priority in its legislative blueprint (due out after Labor Day).
In addition, SBA List announced the launch of a $150,000 independent expenditure campaign highlighting the pro-life leadership of endorsed New Hampshire U.S. Senate candidate Kelly Ayotte. The campaign included $50,000 in radio ads, $50,000 in Google web ads and $50,000 in voter mobilization efforts leading up to the September 14th primary. The tight primary race drew local and national attention, with candidates’ stances on abortion legislation cited as a primary difference. Thursday’s national Associated Press story included Ayotte’s reference to her SBA List endorsement at the one-hour Saint Anselm College debate.
