Dan Osborn Backs a National All-Trimester Abortion Mandate
Lincoln, NE – Today SBA Pro-Life America Candidate Fund announced its endorsement of U.S. Senator Deb Fischer (R-NE) for re-election. Fischer holds an A+ on the group’s National Pro-Life Scorecard for her outstanding record.
“Senator Deb Fischer is a strong leader who consistently stands up for babies and their mothers, including infants who survive failed abortions, against the no-limits abortion agenda of Biden and Harris. We are proud to endorse a longtime ally once again,” said SBA Pro-Life America President Marjorie Dannenfelser. “Dan Osborn is a pro-abortion extremist. If put in an evenly split U.S. Senate, he will side with Democrats like Chuck Schumer to get rid of the filibuster and impose a partisan, all-trimester abortion mandate nationwide. This would not only wipe out Nebraska’s commonsense limits that save hundreds of lives, reinstating late-term abortions when babies can feel pain. It would ban every state in the country from protecting unborn children at any point and having the values of their people reflected in the law. Osborn is far too radical and the stakes too high. We must come together to defeat him and re-elect Senator Fischer.”
Nebraskans overwhelmingly reject Osborn’s position of no limits on abortion at any point in pregnancy, with only 16% of Independents, less than a third of women, and less than half of Democrats supporting it, according to polling released last year.
Susan B. Anthony Pro-Life America Candidate Fund is a federal political action committee of Susan B. Anthony Pro-Life America – a network of more than one million pro-life Americans nationwide, dedicated to ending abortion by electing national leaders and advocating for laws that save lives, with a special calling to promote pro-life women leaders.
