WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, the Susan B. Anthony List announced the launch of a direct mail campaign beginning this week which will reach more than 2.3 million identified pro-life voters in 42 competitive Congressional districts across the country.
“The common factor among this unusually large number of competitive races is a dissatisfaction with the broad overreach of the Obama Administration and its Congressional allies, especially on the issue of abortion,” SBA List President Marjorie Dannenfelser said. “Poll after poll shows that Americans do not want their tax dollars funding abortions, yet the Obama administration and its allies in Congress have expanded taxpayer funding of abortion both here and abroad in unprecedented ways.”
The mailings will bring to light the pro-abortion positions of candidates in these districts and any pro-abortion votes they have cast as well as information such as money received from the abortion lobby.
“These representatives can’t hide from their positions, though many of them are trying to,” Dannenfelser said. “Votes have consequences and these politicians will receive that message on November 2nd.”
The following districts and incumbent Representatives will be included in the campaign: AZ-01 (Ann Kirkpatrick), AZ-05 (Harry Mitchell), AZ-07 (Raul Grijalva), AZ-08 (Gabrielle Giffords), CA-11 (Jerry McNerney), CA-18 (Dennis Cardoza), CA-47 (Loretta Sanchez), CO-03 (John Salazar), FL-02 (Allen Boyd), FL-22 (Ron Klein), FL-24 (Suzanne Kosmas), GA-02 (Sanford Bishop), IL-11 (Debbie Halvorson), IL-14 (Bill Foster), IL-17 (Phil Hare), IN-02 (Joe Donnelly), IN-09 (Baron Hill), MA-04 (Barney Frank), MI-07 (Mark Schauer), MN-08 (Jim Oberstar), MO-03 (Russ Carnahan), NC-02 (Bob Etheridge), NH-01 (Carol Shea-Porter), NM-01 (Martin Heinrich), NV-03 (Dina Titus), NY-25 (Daniel Maffei), OH-01 (Steve Driehaus), OH-09 (Marcy Kaptur), OH-13 (Betty Sutton), OH-16 (John Boccieri), PA-03 (Kathy Dahlkemper), PA-08 (Patrick Murphy), PA-10 (Chris Carney), PA-11 (Paul Kanjorski), SC-05 (John Spratt), TX-23 (Ciro Rodriguez), VA-11 (Gerry Connolly), WA-02 (Rick Larsen), WA-09 (Adam Smith), WI-03 (Ron Kind), WI-08 (Steve Kagen) and WV-03 (Nick Rahall).

Anthony List is a nationwide network of over 280,000 Americans, residing in all 50 states, dedicated to mobilizing, advancing, and representing pro-life women in politics.
