Add Sue Thayer to the long list of former Planned Parenthood workers to quit their jobs and join the Pro-Life movement. Thayer was the manager of Planned Parenthood in Storm Lake, Iowa. She addressed pro-lifers during the closing web cast of 40 Days for Life.
Thayer confirms what we have known for decades: Planned Parenthood chooses profit over people. She recalls that Americaâs abortion giant blatantly defies the FDA by performing âtelemed abortionsâ, in which Planned Parenthood supplies women with the harmful drug RU 486 via videoconference. She says they choose videoconferences and âtelemedâ because these practices require âlittle overheadâ.
Thayer became uneasy about her work because she realized that Planned Parenthoodâs claim about preventing abortions was a lie. They were always working to encourage and increase the amount of abortions that they performed. She says, âAbortion became a number or a goal.â They were always working to encourage and increase the amount of abortions that they performed.
When Sue spoke up against the business practices of Planned Parenthood, she was fired and driven out of the business. This year, she joined 40 Days for Life and prayed outside the abortion clinic where she used to work. Her witness and prayer was joined by that of thousands of people across the country, leading to over 500 saved lives over the course of 40 days.
Thayer joins Abby Johnson, Catherine Adair, and countless others who went from working in Planned Parenthoodâs clinics to praying on their sidewalks.
On SBAâs Values Voters Summit panel earlier this year, Adair spoke about the horrors of working for Planned Parenthood. Check out the video below to hear the inside story of what happens in Planned Parenthood clinics and this Thanksgiving, give thanks to all the women who are now bravely stepping forward to expose the horrors of Planned Parenthood.
