Latest In The News

This week, the majority of coverage centered on the Susan B. Anthony List’s federal lawsuit requesting a temporary stay on discovery proceedings before the Ohio Elections Commission hearing while the court reconsidered the constitutionality of the law enabling Steve Driehaus’ complaint.  On Monday, the court decided not to hear the SBA List’s case, allowing the OEC hearing to move forward as scheduled.  In the meantime, several daily paper editorial boards, blogs and other outlets ran stories and opinions supporting the SBA List’s position and reopening the debate over whether the health care reform bill contains taxpayer funding of abortion as SBA List’s billboards had planned to say.

Meanwhile, local and national outlets began ramping up their election coverage of SBA List’s broader spending efforts and Votes Have Consequences efforts to unseat several pro-abortion incumbents.
