Pro-life Event Comes One Day After Critical Florida Primary
Washington, D.C – Senator Marco Rubio (R-FL) is set to give the keynote address at the Susan B. Anthony List’s “Campaign for Life Gala” on Wednesday, February 1 in Washington, D.C., one day after the Florida Republican primary, the group announced today.
“My pro-life beliefs are cornerstone principles for me, and I’m honored to have the opportunity to speak at the Susan B. Anthony List’s annual gala,” Senator Rubio said. “While economic issues are at the forefront of the political debate, we cannot forget our responsibility to defend innocent human life. The pro-life movement is winning, and it is doing so because of the tenacity of Marjorie Dannenfelser, the SBA List and pro-life grassroots supporters across the nation. The SBA List will play a critical role in the 2012 elections and in advancing the cause of life.”
“Senator Rubio has a sterling record on the issue of life and we are honored to have him speak,” said Marjorie Dannenfelser, president of the Susan B. Anthony List. “He is a principled leader, effective communicator, and great motivator at a time Americans are hungry for all three.”
