John Ensign’s (R-Nevada) Child Custody Protection Act (CCPA), S. 403, with a vote of 65-34. Those present also urged Senate and House conferees to put aside partisan politics and work together to produce a comprehensive bill that could quickly be placed on the President’s desk for his signature.
