Christmas baby born 5 months early saved by freezer bag

Can we all at least agree that babies should be protected from abortion after 5 months of pregnancy?

Baby Ellis was born at 24 weeks, when he could have been legally aborted. Instead, his parents and doctors fought to save him and he is now a “happy and cheeky” 1 year-old.

In 2015 you have the chance to save babies like Ellis from brutal late abortions. The new Senate is pro-life, and the new Majority Leader Mitch McConnell has promised to bring up the Pain-Capable Unborn Child Protection Act for a Senate vote. Blocked for years by the old pro-abortion majority leader, Harry Reid, this bill could save up to 18,000 babies every year from painful abortions after 5 months of pregnancy.

Tell Majority Leader Mitch McConnell he must bring this life-saving bill to a vote. Tell your Senators they must stand for innocent unborn lives.

Doctors warned that tiny Ellis Gawthorpe-Rogers might die after he was delivered weighing just 1Ib 11oz

A Christmas baby born five months early was saved by a Tesco freezer bag.

Ellis Gawthorpe-Rogers weighed just 1Ib 11oz when he was delivered following a 96-hour labour on Boxing day last year.

Ellis, who will turn one tomorrow, was originally due in April this year.

But his mum Emma Gawthorpe’s waters broke on December 22 following a day out Christmas shopping, and he arrived after a 96-hour labour on Boxing Day.

It was touch and go as Emma, 22, of Fleetwood, Lancashire, was just 24 weeks pregnant.
