Biography
Sheehy is an aerial firefighter, former Navy SEAL, and the founder and CEO of Bridger Aerospace. A graduate of the U.S. Naval Academy, he received the Bronze Star with Valor for Heroism in Combat and Purple Heart for his service overseas in Iraq, Afghanistan, South America, and the Pacific region. He met his wife Carmen at the Naval Academy and following their military service, they settled in Montana near Bozeman. Together they have four children.
The Sheehys are strong supporters of improving rural health care and have helped expand services in the Bozeman area, including upgrading a local NICU and bringing pediatric specialty care to the region.
