Pro-life Canvassers Working to Reach 500,000 PA Voters to Expose 2022 Candidates’ Abortion Stance
Washington, D.C. – Today Pennsylvania Attorney General Josh Shapiro will announce his candidacy for governor in 2022. Ahead of the announcement, the national pro-life group Susan B. Anthony List (SBA List) blasted Shapiro’s abortion extremism:
“Josh Shapiro is a radical pro-abortion activist who has spent his career attacking pro-life Pennsylvanians, including the Little Sisters of the Poor, Catholic nuns who dedicate their lives to serving the elderly poor,” said SBA List President Marjorie Dannenfelser. “Shapiro believes Americans should be forced to be complicit in the destruction of human life no matter their deeply held religious beliefs or conscience objections. He is dramatically out of touch with constituents’ values, pushing an agenda of abortion on demand for any reason up to birth.
“Ahead of the 2022 midterms, pro-life canvassers with Susan B. Anthony List and our super PAC, Women Speak Out PAC, are already on the ground in key battleground states talking to voters about these issues, with plans to visit at least half a million homes across Pennsylvania before Election Day. Our team is especially focused on reaching pro-life voters who don’t necessarily vote in each election, as well as voters who can be persuaded to vote pro-life once they understand the stark contrast that exists between candidates on this issue.”
Public opinion polls consistently show a strong majority of Americans reject pro-abortion extremism. The group is already on the ground in Pennsylvania, Arizona, Georgia, Wisconsin, North Carolina, and Florida speaking to voters about current U.S. abortion law and ensuring they know where their representatives stand on this important issue ahead of the 2022 midterm elections.
SBA List is a network of 900,000 pro-life Americans nationwide, dedicated to ending abortion by electing national leaders and advocating for laws that save lives, with a special calling to promote pro-life women leaders.
