Washington, D.C. — Today Susan B. Anthony List Candidate Fund endorsed U.S. Representative Greg Gianforte for governor of Montana.
“Congressman Greg Gianforte has been a steadfast advocate for the unborn and for the pro-life citizens of Montana throughout his time in office, in addition to his deep compassion and longtime support for the work of life-affirming pregnancy centers,” said SBA List President Marjorie Dannenfelser. “Greg will bring welcome change to the governor’s mansion after six long years of extremism from Steve Bullock, who stood in the way of legislation to stop late-term abortions after five months of pregnancy and protect babies born alive during failed abortions – popular bills that Greg championed in Congress, along with his efforts to protect conscience rights and stop taxpayer funding of the abortion industry. We’re honored to endorse a strong pro-life leader like Greg and urge Montana voters to support him at the polls.”
Rep. Gianforte responded to the endorsement saying:

Unfortunately, Montanans have seen what 14 years of one-party control of the governor’s office looks like, veto after veto after veto of protections for the unborn. I believe every unborn child has the inherent, God-given right to life. I’ll always stand for life, and will continue working to protect the most innocent and vulnerable among us, the unborn child.”
Greg Gianforte has served Montana in the U.S. House of Representatives since June 2017 when SBA List canvassers visited more than 31,000 homes to mobilize pro-life voters to support him in the special election. Greg is a cosponsor of the Born-Alive Abortion Survivors Protection Act, Conscience Protection Act, the Defund Planned Parenthood Act, Heartbeat Protection Act, the Life at Conception Act, and the Pain-Capable Unborn Child Protection Act. Married for 31 years, Greg and Susan raised their four children in Bozeman, Montana. A successful entrepreneur and small business owner, Greg founded RightNow Technologies with Susan two decades ago in their Bozeman home, and grew it into the town’s largest commercial employer, creating over 500 high-paying Montana jobs. The Gianfortes are longtime pro-life advocates and supporters of pregnancy resource centers to help women in need.
