Washington, D.C. – Today Susan B. Anthony List Candidate Fund announced its endorsement of Young Kim for U.S. House of Representatives in California’s 39th District.
“As an organization with a special mission to promote strong, pro-life woman leaders, we at SBA List Candidate Fund are pleased to endorse Young Kim,” said former congresswoman Marilyn Musgrave, SBA List’s Vice President of Government Affairs. “Her respect for life is a welcome change from her opponent, Congressman Cisneros, who refuses to support legislation that would ensure medical care for babies born alive after failed abortions. As a member of the California Assembly, Kim stood up to the extreme abortion lobby’s efforts to force pro-life pregnancy centers to advertise for abortion. She will be a dedicated public servant for Californians, not the abortion industry.”
Young Kim is an immigrant to the United States and the first Korean-American Republican woman to serve in the California State Assembly, where she had a strong pro-life voting record. Prior to her service in the Assembly, Kim worked for former Congressman Ed Royce. Young Kim is a community leader, businesswoman and public servant. She and her husband Charles have four children.
