Washington, D.C. – Today Susan B. Anthony List’s Candidate Fund PAC announced its endorsement of Anna Paulina Luna to represent Florida’s 13th Congressional District.
“Anna Paulina Luna will bring the much-needed voice of the rising pro-life generation to Congress,” said the Honorable Marilyn Musgrave, SBA List’s vice president of government affairs. “Anna’s pro-life convictions are deeply personal. Raised by a single mother, she knows the importance of the loving care and vital services the pro-life movement offers women facing difficult circumstances. She has experienced the profound devastation that abortion inflicts on families and communities and is dedicated to protecting unborn children and their mothers. In contrast, her Democratic opponent Charlie Crist is a pro-abortion career politician who has an ‘F’ rating on our National Pro-Life Scorecard and even voted against medical care for babies who survive abortions. Anna will lead with compassion and champion the cause of the most vulnerable. We are proud to endorse her and encourage pro-life Floridians to support her.”
Anna Paulina Luna was raised by her mother in Southern California. At 19 she joined the Air Force, where she earned the Air Force Achievement Medal. Her husband, Andy, is a special forces operator in the Air Force and the recipient of the Bronze Star and Purple Heart. They live in St. Petersburg. Andy is stationed at MacDill Air Force Base and Anna is a small business owner.
