Washington, D.C.Today Susan B. Anthony List’s Candidate Fund PAC announced its endorsement of Jennifer-Ruth Green (R) for Congress in Indiana’s 1st District.

“Jennifer-Ruth Green is a strong, battle-proven pro-life leader and we are excited to endorse her for Congress,” said Hon. Marilyn Musgrave, SBA List’s vice president of government affairs. “For too long, northwest Indiana has lacked a voice in Congress to speak out for commonsense abortion limits that the overwhelming majority of Americans want. Instead, their elected officials vote in lockstep with Nancy Pelosi and the radical abortion lobby – even refusing to pass limits on late-term abortions well after science shows unborn children can feel pain. Time after time Hoosiers have rejected this extreme agenda at the state level and they deserve better. Jennifer-Ruth is a trailblazer who has dedicated her entire career to serving her community, her country, and vulnerable young people. In Washington she will be a bold advocate for unborn children and their mothers, compassionate and unflinchingly principled. We encourage all voters of the 1st District to get out and support her in the primary on May 3.”

Green served in the U.S. Air Force for 12 years and continues to serve in the U.S. Air Force Reserve and in the Indiana Air National Guard as chief information officer/commander, 122d Communications Flight – the first African American or Asian woman in the history of the Fighter Wing selected to serve in this position. She is a certified private flight instructor, a commercial pilot, and one of fewer than 150 African-American professional female pilots in the nation. She is the founder of MissionAero Pipeline, a nonprofit reaching at-risk youth by introducing them to STEM careers and the aerospace industry. She lives in Crown Point, Indiana and is a proud aunt to 15 nieces and nephews.

SBA List is a network of 900,000 pro-life Americans nationwide, dedicated to ending abortion by electing national leaders and advocating for laws that save lives, with a special calling to promote pro-life women leaders.
