Nat’l Pro-life Group Committed to Defeating Most Pro-Abortion Ticket in History
Washington, D.C. – Today Women Speak Out PAC, partner of the national pro-life Susan B. Anthony List (SBA List), begins an ad buy across Pennsylvania slamming the Biden-Harris ticket as “the most pro-abortion ticket in history.” The :30 spot is a part of the group’s overall five-figure TV ad campaign across battleground states during this week’s DNC. To date, SBA List canvassers have made more than 27,000 visits to Pennsylvania voters.
The groups’ Pennsylvania efforts are part of a comprehensive campaign to re-elect President Trump, and is part of an overall $52 million budget for the 2020 cycle.
“Joe Biden and Kamala Harris represent the most pro-abortion presidential ticket in our nation’s history,” said Mallory Quigley, national spokeswoman for the Susan B. Anthony List and Women Speak Out PAC. “Senator Harris has a long record of promoting abortion-on-demand, up until the moment of birth, and even infanticide, paid for by taxpayers. This radical position is abhorrent to a majority of Americans – and even rank and file Democrats. Pennsylvanians deserve to know the truth about the choice they face this November – this election is a matter of life and death.”
SBA List has previously spoken out against the abortion extremism of Pennsylvania Governor Tom Wolf, who deemed abortion essential during the COVID-19 pandemic. Planned Parenthood Keystone insisted on carrying out elective abortions this spring, depleting PPE resources in order to perform abortions at the height of the crisis.
In addition to Pennsylvania, the SBA List and WSO PAC field team is currently active in Arizona, North Carolina, Florida, Michigan, Montana, and Wisconsin, with plans to contact 4.6 million voters overall before Election Day.
Polling previously released by SBA List found that a majority (50%) of voters are less likely to support Joe Biden following his flip-flop on the Hyde Amendment, when he announced he supports using tax dollars to pay for abortions after decades of advocating against it. This includes 55% of Independent voters who say they are less likely to support him.
Additionally, a January Marist poll shows that 44% of Democrats and 62% of Independents want to vote for a candidate who supports common-ground limits on abortion.
