I’m thrilled to tell you that on April 11, 2013, former vice presidential candidate and pro-life rockstar Congressman Paul Ryan of Wisconsin will keynote the SBA List’s annual Campaign for Life Gala in Washington, D.C.!
In announcing that he will keynote the Gala, Congressman Ryan said:
“I’m honored to give the keynote address at the Susan B. Anthony List Gala. The SBA List and its 365,000 members across the country are leading the charge to protect life at all stages. I am committed to working with the SBA List and all Americans to defend the dignity of every human life and protect the freedom of conscience and religion. Elected leaders must fight in behalf of society’s most vulnerable, and I thank the SBA List for providing a voice for the voiceless.”
Not only does Congressman Ryan have a pristine pro-life voting record, he has proved himself to be one of the best communicators we have in the fight to defend Life.
In Washington and across the country, Congressman Ryan has repeatedly explained the pro-life position with clarity, compassion, and thoughtfulness. We are so pleased to have him participate in this year’s event – where we will also honor young women leaders who are also passionately advocating for the lives of unborn children and their mothers.
One of those women is Lt. Governor Rebecca Kleefisch, also of Wisconsin. Lt. Governor Kleefisch has been courageously leading the charge for Life in Wisconsin where the Walker-Kleefisch Administration has overseen the successful defunding of Planned Parenthood and the passage of numerous pro-life laws in Wisconsin.
In addition to Lt. Gov. Kleefisch, we also plan to honor a new generation of trailblazers who lead the pro-life movement forward by presenting them with the prestigious Susan B. Anthony List Young Leader Award.
