Pro-Life Ground Team Makes 550,000+ Visits to FL Voters to Expose Democrats’ Push for Abortion on Demand Until Birth
Washington, D.C. – Ahead of tonight’s U.S. Senate debate in Florida, Susan B. Anthony Pro-Life America called out Democratic candidate Val Demings on her extreme position on abortion.
Demings is an original co-sponsor of the so-called “Women’s Health Protection Act,” legislation in Congress that would expand abortion on demand until the moment of birth and block new and existing pro-life laws. She has earned an F on SBA Pro-Life America’s National Pro-Life Scorecard for her consistent pro-abortion record.
“Floridians reject abortion extremism, yet Val Demings pushes a deeply unpopular agenda of abortion on demand until birth – even refusing to support life-saving medical care for babies who survive abortion,” said SBA Pro-Life America President Marjorie Dannenfelser. “Floridians enacted compassionate legislation earlier this year that protects unborn children from brutal late-term abortions after 15 weeks, when they can feel pain, along with their mothers. Senator Rubio stands with them and has a comprehensive plan to empower moms and support children. In contrast, Demings stands with the radical abortion lobby in working to impose abortion on demand until birth, paid for by the taxpayer, not only in Florida but in all 50 states.
