The voter registration deadline for the general election is October 7, 2024.

Arizona’s two ways of early ballot-by-mail voting are:

  1. Active Early Voting List
    • No deadline or extra requirements to join – however, to receive early ballot-by-mail for an upcoming election, you must register at least 11 days prior to the election (i.e. by 10/25).
    • Once on the list, you will automatically receive early ballot-by-mail each election you are eligible to vote in.
  2. One-time early ballot-by-mail
    • This will not add you to the Active Early Voting List; it is just for the current election.
    • No extra requirements to request one-time early ballot-by-mail
    • Must register by October 25, 2024 to vote in general election

If you are on the Active Early Voting List, the deadline to notify the county that you do not want your ballot to be sent automatically is September 21, 2024.

Emergency voting is allowed (The means of voting may vary by county; might include absentee ballot):

  • Emergency = any unforeseen circumstances that would prevent the elector from voting at the polls.
  • The emergency must have occurred between 11/1 (5pm) and 11/4 (5pm).

Early ballots-by-mail are sent out for the general election beginning on October 9, 2024.

Comparing the Candidates

Most Arizonans, whether pro-life or pro-choice, believe there should be reasonable limits on abortion to protect the health and safety of women and their unborn children, but Ruben Gallego doesn’t think there should be any limits at all.

Ruben Gallego

Democratic Candidate for Senate
  • Harris and Walz support the Abortion-on-Demand Until Birth Act, which seeks to impose abortion until birth on all 50 states. If enacted, it would force all 50 states to allow painful late-term abortions. Ruben Gallego voted FOR the Abortion-on-Demand Until Birth Act in Congress.
  • Harris and Walz oppose legislation that would simply ensure equal medical care for babies born alive after attempted abortions. Ruben Gallego voted against legislation in Congress to protect these babies.
  • Harris and Walz support the repeal of the Hyde Amendment which would force taxpayers to pay for abortions. In Congress, Ruben Gallego voted MULTIPLE times to force taxpayers to pay for abortions – even painful late-term abortions.

Kari Lake

Republican Candidate for Senate
  • Donald Trump and Senate candidate Kari Lake will protect the rights of states to place limits on late-term abortions when babies can feel pain and even survive outside the womb.
  • Donald Trump and Kari Lake believe in serving women and saving babies. They believe in offering real choices to save lives. They support streamlining adoption services, increasing the child tax credit, and making baby items tax-free.
  • They support providing funding to pregnancy care centers and maternity homes that provide real support to moms and families.
  • Donald Trump and Kari Lake will proudly fight for Arizona values.

Earned an "F" Rating on the National Pro-Life Scorecard

Rep. Gallego has consistently voted to eliminate or prevent protections for the unborn and for children born alive after failed abortions. Rep. Gallego has voted to eliminate prohibitions on taxpayer funding for abortion, domestically or internationally, including by redefining longstanding safeguards against abortion funding to allow taxpayer funding for abortion travel expenses. Rep. Gallego has worked to allow radical abortion ideology to be inserted into every facet of the United States Government.
