They and other outlets quoted Marjorie on how, as someone needing to recant of his past calls for a âtruceâ on social issues, Daniels should sign the bill to confirm his conservative credentials with the GOP and boost his chances of winning a potential nomination.
Once Daniels announced his decision to sign the bill late in the afternoon on Friday, SBA List issued a comment from Marjorie, saying âMitch Daniels knows there is no truce on doing what is right.â Marjorieâs quote was picked up in Beltway publication stories highlighting the importance of candidatesâ positions on taxpayer funding of abortion in the upcoming 2012 elections.
