Micah’s life is a true miracle. Although doctors told his parents he would either be stillborn or suffer severe disabilities, his parents chose life and gave him a chance. Micah turned seven years old today, and is as healthy as ever. SBA List first learned about Micah and his family from a New York Times article highlighting babies born alive at 20 weeks! Since then, Micah and his family have fiercely advocated for the Pain-Capable Unborn Child Protection Act, dubbed “Micah’s Law” by Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-CA), which would protect children from abortion after five months – a point by which babies can feel pain.
