New Ad Exposes Janet Protasiewicz’s Crime Record
MADISON, Wisc. – Women Speak Out PAC, a partner of Susan B. Anthony Pro-Life America, is making another investment in the Wisconsin Supreme Court race to support Justice Daniel Kelly. The group has committed $2 million for the April 4 general election to elect a justice who respects the Constitution and the rule of law.
The investment will go toward canvassing, digital ads and a statewide TV spot that begins running today. The ad highlights Protasiewicz’s recent decision to give a convicted child rapist no jail time. In 2019, Quantrell Bounds posted a video on Facebook of him physically assaulting and raping a 12-year-old girl. Protasiewicz reduced Bounds’ sentence from five years and nine months in prison to six years of probation. Bounds was arrested again last June.
Women Speak Out PAC’s Director of State Public Affairs Kelsey Pritchard encourages voters to turn out in support of Justice Daniel Kelly:
“Janet Protasiewicz has a horrific record on crime with a history of being soft on sex offenders. Someone with her dangerous lack of judgment should not be entrusted with the responsibilities of a state Supreme Court justice.
“Based on the statements Protasiewicz has made throughout this campaign, the Constitution and the laws won’t stop her from ruling based on the whims of her own flawed judgment in order to carry out Planned Parenthood’s agenda to eliminate parental rights for the sake of abortion on demand.”
Justice Daniel Kelly previously served on the Wisconsin Supreme Court after being appointed by Gov. Scott Walker in 2016. Kelly is endorsed by Wisconsin Family Action, Pro-Life Wisconsin and Wisconsin Right To Life.
The race will decide the balance of the court, which currently has a 4-3 conservative majority.
Women Speak Out PAC’s seven-figure investment is the most the group has committed in any state supreme court race to date. The organization previously invested six figures in the Wisconsin Supreme Court primary in February.
Women Speak Out PAC is a partner of SBA Pro-Life America, a super PAC amplifying the voices of women opposed to abortion extremists. Since 2014, Women Speak Out PAC has built the largest pro-life on-the-ground political campaign in the country.
