Milwaukee, WI – Susan B. Anthony Pro-Life America President Marjorie Dannenfelser will attend the first Republican Presidential Debate in Milwaukee, Wisconsin on Wednesday, August 23.

Marjorie Dannenfelser President of SBA Pro-Life America commented ahead of the debate, saying:

“The pro-life movement has high expectations in the Dobbs era. We need our next president to be a national defender of life who understands the immediate importance of serving moms and saving babies in the womb from abortion,” said Marjorie Dannenfelser President of SBA Pro-Life America. “The Democrats have made their radical position clear. Sadly, they are now in lockstep with the abortion industry, pushing for abortion on demand up-to-birth paid for by the taxpayer. They are determined to use any means necessary, including ballot measures and national legislation, to force this brutal position on the American people.

That is why it is imperative that GOP candidates listen to the will of the American people, who want compassionate limits on abortion to protect children in the womb by at least 15 weeks when science proves they can feel pain. GOP candidates must state their pro-life position clearly and contrast it with the extreme and unpopular position of their Democrat opponents. Hiding from this issue and allowing your opponent to define you is political cowardice and unacceptable.”
