Herrell Has Worked to End Late-term Abortion & Baby Parts Trafficking
Washington, D.C. – Today the national pro-life group Susan B. Anthony List (SBA List) announced its endorsement of Yvette Herrell in New Mexico’s second congressional district. Herrell is part of SBA List’s first round of endorsed candidates in the 2018 cycle.
“SBA List first got to know Yvette Herrell through our National Pro-life Women’s Caucus and we are excited to endorse her run for Congress. Yvette has been a vocal advocate for unborn children throughout her time in the New Mexico legislature,” said former U.S. Congresswoman Marilyn Musgrave, SBA List’s Vice President of Government Affairs. “Yvette has worked hard to end cruel late-term abortions and hold the abortion industry and its allies accountable for their role in the trafficking of baby body parts. We are confident she will hit the ground running in Washington.”
Yvette Herrell accepted the endorsement saying:

Herrell has served in New Mexico’s House of Representatives since 2011. She has sponsored legislation to protect babies born alive in failed abortions, ban late-term abortions after five months of pregnancy, and require the University of New Mexico to report on the use of aborted baby body parts for research. Herrell is an active member of SBA List’s National Pro-Life Women’s Caucus.
