Pregnancy Centers & Community Health Clinics Offer Real Choices, Outnumber Planned Parenthood 14 to 1 Nationwide
Washington, D.C. – Today Susan B. Anthony Pro-Life America slammed Senator Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) and pro-abortion Democrats for perpetuating a dangerous narrative that pro-life pregnancy centers “fool” and “torture” women. SBA Pro-Life America has documented more than 80 incidents of pro-abortion vandalism, violence and intimidation since the Dobbs opinion was leaked.
More than 54,000 volunteers at pregnancy centers nationwide, including 10,200 licensed medical professionals, provide medical care, education, and material support for millions of women and families each year.
“Senator Warren and the Democrats’ attempts to scare women away from getting the care and support they need are unconscionable, and their extreme rhetoric is inspiring more senseless pro-abortion violence,” said SBA Pro-Life America President Marjorie Dannenfelser. “While Democratic Party leaders push for abortion on demand until birth nationwide and fret that pregnancy centers outnumber abortion facilities, 76% of voters support pregnancy centers – including overwhelming majorities of rank-and-file Democrats and pro-choice voters. Radical pro-abortion Democrats will face the consequences of their deeply unpopular agenda at the ballot box.”
Charlotte Lozier Institute released a full analysis and map that shows pregnancy centers and community-based health clinics outnumber Planned Parenthood facilities 14 to 1 across the United States.
Dannenfelser continued, “Nearly 3,000 pregnancy centers across the country lovingly give hope and encouragement to expectant mothers and provide critical resources throughout pregnancy and after their child is born, typically at no charge. Heroically, they continue to serve despite the risk to their safety from pro-abortion terrorism.
“With an average client satisfaction rate of 99%, pregnancy centers walk with mothers and help them make truly informed decisions for themselves and their babies, unlike the abortion industry led by Planned Parenthood that sells them abortion and profits from their misery. Pregnancy centers’ incredible work has saved over 800,000 unborn lives, proving that countless women choose life when abortion is not presented as the default ‘solution’ to challenging circumstances.”
