Pro-life Senators Remain Vigilant in Raising Crucial Pro-life Issues During “Vote-a-rama”
Washington, D.C. – Today the national pro-life group Susan B. Anthony List (SBA List) issued the following statement ahead of expected efforts by pro-life senators to use the reconciliation process to force votes on pro-life amendments to the budget resolution:
“We’re thankful to our pro-life allies in the Senate led by Leader, McConnell, Senator Daines, and Senator Lankford who are taking this ‘vote-a-rama’ opportunity to raise important pro-life issues. The American people deserve to know where their senators stand on these life-saving policies. SBA List will also closely track efforts throughout the process to weaken existing pro-life policies and will oppose the addition of any anti-life amendments to the legislation. Hundreds of amendments will be filed, and our team is assessing them as they come in.”
