Washington, D.C. – Today Susan B. Anthony List’s Candidate Fund PAC announced its endorsement of Dr. Rich McCormick in Georgia’s 7th Congressional District.
“Dr. Rich McCormick will be a compassionate leader on the life issue,” said the Honorable Marilyn Musgrave, SBA List’s Vice President of Government Affairs. “As an emergency room doctor and former military doctor, Rich has fought to save lives his entire career and knows the value of each life, born and unborn. His knowledge and experience will be invaluable as he serves the people of Georgia’s 7th District. His opponent, Carolyn Bourdeaux, is an extremist who only represents the interests of the radical abortion lobby. We are proud to endorse Dr. McCormick and encourage Georgians to support him.”
Dr. Rich McCormick served in the Marines for 20 years and retired with the rank of commander. He and his wife Debra settled in the metro-Atlanta area, where he serves as an emergency medicine physician. They have seven children and are actively involved at Gwinnett Church, where Dr. McCormick leads a high-school small group.
