Washington, D.C. – Today Susan B. Anthony Pro-Life America’s Candidate Fund announced its endorsement of Kellie Warren for attorney general of Kansas.
“Kellie Warren is an unflinching champion for the unborn and mothers and we’re excited to endorse her for attorney general of Kansas,” said Marilyn Musgrave, SBA Pro-Life America’s vice president of government affairs. “Kellie has championed Kansas’ pro-life values from day one, working to hold elected leaders accountable and calling out the pro-abortion extremism of Governor Laura Kelly. As chair of the Senate Judiciary committee, she played an instrumental role in shepherding the Value Them Both amendment through the state legislature to ensure that Kansans’ voices are heard. In the Dobbs era, strong attorneys general are needed more than ever to fight for the people’s right to have their values reflected in the law. We stand behind Kellie Warren and encourage pro-life voters across Kansas to do the same on August 2.”
Warren serves in the Kansas Senate and is the first woman to chair the Senate Judiciary Committee. Previously she served in the Kansas House and practiced law. Her husband Pat is president of Kansas Speedway, and both are from Overland Park. They are the proud parents of four children.
SBA Pro-Life America previously announced it will invest at least $1.3 million to educate voters about the Value Them Both Amendment, which states that there is no right to abortion or taxpayer-funded abortion in the state constitution and would restore the right of Kansans and their elected officials to enact laws protecting unborn children and their mothers. Student canvassers with the group have already visited more than 132,000 homes of voters across the state and plan to visit 250,000 homes before the August primary to encourage Kansans to vote YES.
This election cycle, SBA Pro-Life America and its affiliated entities plan to spend $78 million to protect life across America. This includes reaching eight million voters across battleground states – four million directly at their doors – to educate them on key issues and win pro-life majorities in the U.S. House and Senate.
