On June 17, 2011, at the Republican Leadership Conference in New Orleans, LA, fmr. Congresswoman and Votes Have Consequences Project Director, Marilyn Musgrave announced the SBA List Pro-life Presidential Leadership Pledge.
Pledge signers commit to actively advance pro-life policies and legislation if they are elected to the White House. Signers of the pledge at the time of the announcement included Michele Bachmann, Newt Gingrich, Ron Paul, Tim Pawlenty and Rick Santorum.
At the panel discussion, Rep. Musgrave was joined by Christopher Plante of the National Organization for Marriage, New Hampshire, and Dr. Deal Hudson of Catholic Advocate.
