In a previous post, it was noted that, despite its attempt to convince the public otherwise, Planned Parenthood is not a safe place and trusted friend for women and young girls.
Abby Johnson, former director of the Planned Parenthood clinic in Bryan, TX once believed the Abortion chain’s lies. She began working at Planned Parenthood because she believed that it was important for women to have access to affordable contraceptives.
As Johnson explains in her book Unplanned, she soon found that providing low cost contraceptives was actually much less important to the organization than pushing its lucrative abortion services. Making this point, Johnson has said, “The money wasn’t in family planning, the money wasn’t in prevention, the money was in abortion.”
Thankfully, now Johnson also uses her experience to warn women that Planned Parenthood is not, in any way, interested in protecting them. In a television advertisement, she notes that, as far as Planned Parenthood is concerned, “There’s no money in doing that.”
