She announced she will instruct her Justice Department to suspend pro-life laws passed by states until she decides they are Constitutional.
Kamala Harris opposes equal medical care for living, breathing babies who have already been born. On February 25, 2019, she helped block a vote on the Born-Alive Abortion Survivors Protection Act. This bill would ensure babies who survive an abortion are given the same medical attention a baby born at the same age would receive. 77% of voters support such a law.

Kamala Harris believes all Americans should be forced to fund abortions on-demand with their taxpayer dollars. On January 17, 2019 Harris voted no on the Hyde Amendment, a restriction on abortion funding for Medicaid that is estimated to have saved more than 2 million lives from abortion.
