Andrew Puzder is a Pro-life, Pro-Woman Leader

Groups claiming to represent the best interest of women are attacking President-elect Trump’s nominee for Secretary of Labor, Andrew Puzder for his pro-life advocacy. In response Susan B. Anthony List president Marjorie Dannenfelser, a friend and ally, offered the following comment:

“Puzder is a longtime pro-life and pro-woman leader who has long sought consensus on the issue of abortion through the promotion of adoption as a founder of the Common Ground Network for Life and Choice. His efforts in the 90s to bridge the gap between pro-life and pro-choice by making adoption easier and more mainstream brought him into communication with activists on all sides, and was well documented in the national media at the time. Since then, Puzder has continued to champion the dignity of women and children as a philanthropist and businessman. Attempts to paint him as anti-woman are part of an ideologically motivated and unfair attack.”
