Washington, D.C. Tonight the national pro-life group Susan B. Anthony List (SBA List) celebrated Greg Gianforte’s victory in Montana’s at-large congressional district. SBA List canvassers knocked on more than 31,000 doors leading up to Election Day reaching out to low-propensity pro-life voters.
SBA List President Marjorie Dannenfelser offered the following comment:
“Montana’s special election has national impact and presented us with an opportunity to send a strong pro-life leader to Congress. That’s why Susan B. Anthony List decided to go on the ground. By the time the polls closed this evening our canvassing team knocked on more than 31,000 doors to educate voters about Greg Gianforte’s unmatched commitment to the pro-life cause. Our team also told voters about Democrat Rob Quist’s support for abortion on-demand, without limits, paid for with taxpayer dollars.
“Greg and his wife Susan are both pro-life champions who have long supported Montana’s network of pregnancy resources centers serving mothers in need. Greg is much-needed in Washington, D.C. at this pivotal point in the direction of the leadership of our nation and we look forward to having his pro-life voice in Congress.”
Greg Gianforte and his wife started a successful high tech company, RightNow Technologies, out of their home in Bozeman, Montana. Gianforte is a pro-life advocate and longtime supporter of pregnancy resource centers to help women in need.

Anthony List and its partner super PAC, Women Speak Out spent more than $18 million in the 2016 election cycle, knocking on more than 1.1 million doors in battleground states to defeat Hillary Clinton and maintain a pro-life Senate.
