Washington, D.C. – Today the national pro-life group Susan B. Anthony List (SBA List) announced its endorsement of Representative Liz Cheney for re-election in Wyoming’s At-Large Congressional District.
“Congresswoman Cheney exemplifies the pro-life, pro-woman leadership Susan B. Anthony List exists to promote,” said former congresswoman Marilyn Musgrave, SBA List’s Vice President of Government Affairs. “Liz has worked diligently to change our nation’s extreme laws that allow abortion on demand through birth and has fought to stop taxpayer funding of the abortion industry. Her outspoken defense of babies born alive during failed abortions distinguishes her as a strong, compassionate champion for life in Congress. We are proud to have Congresswoman Cheney in our National Pro-Life Women’s Caucus and wholeheartedly endorse her re-election bid.”
Rep. Cheney has represented the At-Large District in Congress since 2017. She is a member of SBA List’s National Pro-Life Women’s Caucus and has co-sponsored the Pain-Capable Unborn Child Protection Act, the No Taxpayer Funding of Abortion Act, and the Born-Alive Abortion Survivors Protection Act, for which she led debate and spoke on the House floor.
Before serving in Congress, Rep. Cheney was principal deputy assistant secretary of state for the Middle East under President George W. Bush. She was a practicing attorney, a Fox News contributor, and co-founder of two nonprofit voter education organizations. She and her husband Phil Perry have five children and live in Wilson, Wyoming.

Anthony List and its partner super PAC, Women Speak Out spent more than $18 million in the 2016 election cycle, visiting more than 1.1 million homes in battleground states to defeat Hillary Clinton and maintain a pro-life Senate.
