SBA: FDA Must End Biden’s Mail-Order Abortion Drug Rule Now

Washington, D.C. – Another woman has allegedly been poisoned by an abusive partner with abortion drugs under a Biden-era rule allowing the mail-order of the drugs. With reports of the woman losing her child and going to the hospital with severe bleeding, SBA Pro-Life America calls on the FDA to end the Biden rule immediately.

The Ohio Medical Board unanimously voted to suspend the license of a University of Toledo Medical Center surgery resident, finding “clear and convincing evidence” that he poses an immediate danger. The man is accused of secretly obtaining abortion drugs online and forcing them down his girlfriend’s throat in the middle of the night. The man allegedly told her he wanted her to get an abortion, but the victim stated that she did not want one.

According to the board’s findings, the man admitted to using his estranged wife’s personal information to order the drugs from an out-of-state abortion business and paying for them with his own credit card. He admitted to crushing the drugs to make them dissolve faster, adjusting the dosage and inserting it into the mother’s mouth. The woman allegedly woke up to the man holding her down and forcing the crushed powder inside her.

“We call on the FDA to end Joe Biden’s mail-order abortion rule today. This horrific case shows exactly how the policy endangers women and empowers abusers. This mother wanted to keep her baby – instead, she and her child were violently assaulted because the FDA allows dangerous abortion drugs to be ordered online with no oversight.

“Every day the FDA leaves Joe Biden’s radical Covid abortion drug policy in place, more unborn babies die and more women go to the ER. There is no excuse for continuing this reckless rule, which 7 out of 10 voters support ending. Abortion by mail, without ultrasounds, verification, or accountability, is putting women at risk and aiding predators. This mom deserved better – America deserves better.”
