Washington, D.C. – Susan B. Anthony Pro-Life America is announcing that its former state public affairs director, Kelsey Pritchard, will lead the organization’s communications department. Pritchard joined SBA Pro-life America three years ago to focus on state communications like passing pro-life laws and fighting pro-abortion ballot measures. As communications director, Pritchard will lead the growing earned media and digital teams, and be a primary media spokesperson for the organization.

Previously, Pritchard spent seven years working for South Dakota Gov. Dennis Daugaard, serving as his communications director and the administration’s press secretary. She brings private sector marketing experience, having led public relations and social media teams in the ad industry.

A mom of two young boys, a little girl, and a baby on the way, Pritchard says she is eager to continue her work for SBA in this new capacity:

“I’m honored to be a part of the nation’s leading political pro-life group that works to serve women and save as many lives as we can as fast as we can from abortion. The pro-life movement has made incredible progress on many fronts since Roe fell, from enacting pro-life laws in nearly half the states to defunding big abortion for the first time nationally. But there is much left to do to reverse the increase of abortions in our country. Our work won’t end until our nation protects every unborn child and upholds the dignity of every human life.”

SBA Pro-Life America President Marjorie Dannenfelser expressed confidence in Pritchard taking on her new role:
