Washington, D.C. – Today Susan B. Anthony Pro-Life America Candidate Fund announced its endorsement of Lynn Fitch for governor of Mississippi to succeed current pro-life Governor Tate Reeves, who is term limited. The general election is set to take place on November 2, 2027.

The group previously endorsed Fitch in her first race for attorney general in 2019 and for re-election in 2023. She is the first woman to hold the position. Previously she served two terms as state treasurer. She has received numerous awards and honors and serves on the boards of several charitable organizations.

“Lynn Fitch is a pro-life hero who has earned a place in the history books and the immeasurable gratitude of the pro-life movement. It is our honor to endorse her for governor of the great state of Mississippi,” said Marjorie Dannenfelser, president of SBA Pro-Life America. “Fitch has fought the battle for life all the way to the Supreme Court and won. For some, it would have been easy to choose the safe path of merely defending state law while leaving the larger issue, the injustice of Roe v. Wade, untouched. Not for Attorney General Fitch. Her boldness and courage paid off in the landmark Dobbs victory for human rights, restoring the right of the people and their elected representatives all across America to protect unborn human life. In the days that followed, she moved swiftly to certify the will of Mississippians to protect babies throughout pregnancy, the strongest stance in the nation.
