Milwaukee, Wis. – Today, Susan B. Anthony Pro-Life America announced that its student deployment program with partner Women Speak Out PAC has made 400,000 visits to Wisconsin voters’ homes across the Milwaukee area, part of a major ongoing canvassing effort focused on the gubernatorial race and Wisconsin’s 1^st Congressional District.

The effort informs persuadable and low-propensity pro-life voters about candidates’ records on abortion. Students have been on the ground several times since May, with additional deployments planned in the months ahead.

“Make no mistake, when it comes to the violence of abortion, there is no daylight between a socialist and the typical Democrat candidate these days. They are all radically out of step with most Wisconsinites and Americans,” said Susan B. Anthony Pro-Life America President Marjorie Dannenfelser. “David Crowley’s extreme record speaks for itself. He boasts about seeking a formal declaration that the killing of unborn children is ‘healthcare.’ He openly states abortion on demand is necessary ‘to advance racial and health equity’ and must be ‘protected at all costs.’ The days when Democrats said abortion should be ‘safe, legal and rare’ are long gone indeed. To preview their agenda for every state in the country, look no further than Massachusetts, where the Democrats just legalized painful late-term abortions for any reason, even for completely healthy babies of healthy moms, up to the moment of birth.

“Our passionate pro-life canvassers engage thousands upon thousands of voters right at their doorsteps, one conversation at a time, growing enthusiasm for pro-life leaders like Tom Tiffany and Bryan Steil and sharing truth about their opponents. Wisconsinites need to be aware this isn’t the Democratic Party they thought they knew, but one that has been captured by abortion radicals. We will not allow them to memory-hole their extreme positions in the general election but will expose and urge voters to reject them at the ballot box.”

This election cycle, SBA Pro-Life America and its affiliated entities plan to spend $80 million to protect life across America. The groups’ voter contact program—the largest and most effective of its kind in the country—includes reaching 10 million voters across Wisconsin, Michigan, North Carolina, Iowa, Ohio, Montana, South Carolina, Georgia and Texas.
