Washington, D.C.Today Susan B. Anthony Pro-Life America Candidate Fund announced its endorsement of Darline Graham in South Carolina’s U.S. Senate race. A runoff election is scheduled for Tuesday, August 25, with early voting available Aug. 19-21. The winner will face Democrat Annie Andrews in the general election.

“I have gotten to know Darline Graham and I am confident she is 100% committed to advocating for unborn children and their mothers in the U.S. Senate. She is already a leader, cut from the same cloth as her brother Sen. Lindsey Graham. One of her first actions was to affirm her support for no fewer than seven pro-life priority bills—from ending federal taxpayer funding of abortion, to stopping deadly abortion drugs and combating forced abortions, to ensuring that expectant moms can find life-affirming information and support and more,” said Marjorie Dannenfelser, president of SBA Pro-Life America. “Darline understands the crossroads America faces: either we will halt extreme late-term abortions pushed by states like Massachusetts, or else the zero-limits policies of Communist China and Vietnam will be the law of our land. She shares the view of the pro-life movement that life is a foundational human right and not a matter of geography, that America is at her best when defending ‘the least among us,’ and that there must continue to be voices and action for life in Washington, D.C.

“Darline Graham is the candidate best suited not only to carry forward a great legacy but to chart her own as a national champion for the most vulnerable, in South Carolina and nationwide. We’re proud to join President Trump, Sen. Tim Scott, Congressman Russell Fry, and our many other friends and allies to endorse her for the full six-year Senate term.”

This election cycle, SBA Pro-Life America and its affiliated entities plan to spend $80 million to protect life across America. The groups’ voter contact program—the largest and most effective of its kind in the country—includes reaching 10 million voters across Wisconsin, Michigan, North Carolina, Iowa, Ohio, Montana, South Carolina, Georgia and Texas. Previously, the group visited the homes of more than 100,000 South Carolina voters in two deployments ahead of the June primary.

Susan B. Anthony Pro-Life America Candidate Fund is a federal political action committee of Susan B. Anthony Pro-Life America – a network of more than one million pro-life Americans nationwide, dedicated to ending abortion by electing national leaders and advocating for laws that save lives, with a special calling to promote pro-life women leaders.
