Washington, D.C. – Today Susan B. Anthony Pro-Life America Candidate Fund announced its endorsement of Lt. Col. David Flippo in Nevada’s 2nd Congressional District.
“Lt. Col. David Flippo spent over a third of his life serving our country in the Air Force. He’s as passionate about helping the poor as he is about defending against threats to families and constitutional rights. That is the energy he will bring to the fight for life in Congress,” said the Hon. Marilyn Musgrave, SBA Pro-Life America’s vice president of government affairs. “Nevada greatly needs a champion who will stand up to the pro-abortion Left and call out the terrible consequences of their policies for the most vulnerable. The 2nd District currently provides the sole voice in Washington, D.C. for at least half a million Silver State voters, particularly rural Nevadans, who reject the Democrats’ extreme no-limits abortion agenda. With tragically few protections for unborn children or their mothers, a young Nevada mom died of sepsis just days after obtaining abortion drugs at Planned Parenthood.
“David’s opponent voted to strip parents’ of their right to even be notified when their minor child seeks an abortion and she vows to enshrine her dangerous views in federal law for all 50 states. With the House majority on the line this November, we’re proud to back a fighter like David Flippo for Nevada.”
Lt. Col. David Flippo spent 24 years serving in the Air Force, where he commanded more than a thousand Airmen. Since then, Flippo has spent time developing a maintenance program for BP’s operations in Alaska, owning multiple small businesses, and leading a nonprofit that provides food aid to the poorest of the poor around the world.
