Washington, D.C. – Today Susan B. Anthony Pro-Life America Candidate Fund announced its endorsement of Republican Steve Toth for Congress in Texas’ 2nd District.
“Steve Toth is one of the strongest pro-life leaders in the Texas legislature, and we will be very excited to see him join the fight in Congress,” said the Hon. Marilyn Musgrave, SBA Pro-Life America’s vice president of government affairs. “Steve has an impeccable pro-life record in the Texas House, helping pass numerous life-saving laws and becoming a leading voice against the influx of abortion drugs into the state. After Dobbs, the Biden administration conspired to allow out-of-state activists to send abortion drugs illegally into pro-life states, leading to tens of thousands of abortions every single year in Texas alone. Steve Toth has been on the cutting edge of this fight, pushing for legislation to protect Texas women and babies and hold these radicals accountable. As these criminal organizations continue to expand across the country, we need more leaders in D.C. like Steve Toth who understand the stakes and are willing to stand up to the Big Abortion lobby.”
A small-business owner and pastor, Steve Toth has served for years as the representative for District 15 in the Texas House. He has received a 100% rating from Texas Right to Life in each of his terms, and he was named a “Pro-Life Hero” by the group for his work on abortion drug legislation in 2023. Toth is endorsed by Texas Right to Life PAC and Senator Ted Cruz. He and his wife Babette have been married for more than 40 years.
Susan B. Anthony Pro-Life America Candidate Fund is a federal political action committee of Susan B. Anthony Pro-Life America – a network of more than one million pro-life Americans nationwide, dedicated to ending abortion by electing national leaders and advocating for laws that save lives, with a special calling to promote pro-life women leaders.
