Sinta Jimenez, host of The Pro-Life American and Director of Digital Strategy at SBA Pro-Life America, is joined by colleagues Tom Olohan and Kelsey Pritchard, who are on a radio tour ahead of the 2026 midterms. They share how SBA has strongly invested in this election to defeat pro-abortion Democrats.

Of the three abortion messages Evolving Strategies tested in a randomized control trial, the attack message shifted voters the most, moving them four to five points toward the pro-life Republican after hearing that Democrats support abortion up to birth. Canvassers are hearing the same reaction at the door from persuadable voters. Only about 20% of Americans align with the Democratic view.

Tom and Kelsey say Democrats have purged dissenters, including Illinois Congressman Dan Lipinski, and believe they can conceal the radicalism. Sinta points to the Planned Parenthood money machine and the old “safe, legal, and rare” position giving way to abortion at any point. Kelsey says a Democratic memo puts the Abortion Until Birth Act, which they call the Women’s Health Protection Act, and eliminating the Hyde Amendment in the first 100 hours. Tom notes the EACH Act already has over 200 House Democratic co-sponsors.

They discuss poll-tested language, a fake Republican group mailing in NC1 that Lori Buckout supports abortion until birth, and candidates like David Crowley in Wisconsin refusing to say where they stand. Kelsey says the “woman and her doctor” line fails once abortion drugs are mailed in from New York and California. Sinta asks what happens when voters learn unborn children have beating hearts by six weeks, unique fingerprints by ten weeks, and can feel pain by fifteen weeks. Tom says that message can swing races. A McLaughlin poll showed support for abortion up to birth as low as 18%, and under 50% even among self-declared pro-choice voters.

Kelsey notes Democrats have been quieter this cycle after 2022 and 2024, but the position has not changed. She names Rob Sand in Iowa, who says life begins at breath, and Tallarico in Texas. SBA’s August 18, 2026 memo told Republicans the Massachusetts law allowing elective third-trimester abortion is the national law Democrats want. SBA is spending eighty million to reach ten and a half million voters with a simple message: Democrats support abortion up to birth, and they cannot support born-alive protection.

Tom says twelve states allow abortion up to birth, with ballot initiatives this year in Virginia, Nevada, and Idaho, and a national bill that would make the country as radical as Massachusetts. Kelsey says abortions have gone up to 1.1 million annually since Roe fell, and the United States is one of eight countries, including China, that allow abortion at any point. Later they discuss about 60,000 abortions a year after 15 weeks, when the baby can feel pain, and close with a call to vote, speak up, and pray.
