Last month, The New York Times released an article highlighting atrocious conditions at Planned Parenthood like leaking sewage, stillbirth caused by an improperly inserted IUD, nerve damage from shoddy care and more. A facility in Missouri was recently shut down for using moldy equipment on women.
Despite being an organization with a $2.4 billion net worth that receives $2 million a day in taxpayer money, The New York Times reported that Planned Parenthood would ignore pleas from their employees to invest in better care for patients.
“We’re begging for supplies, and we get denied constantly because they just can’t afford it,” said Ashley Schmidt, a former Planned Parenthood employee.
The article went on to say the bulk of Planned Parenthood’s funds are spent on lobbying and politics. This last election cycle, Planned Parenthood Action Fund boasts that it spent almost $70 million trying to defeat Republicans and push all-trimester abortion ballot initiatives, not including the many millions spent by local affiliates.
Planned Parenthood isn’t only America’s largest abortion chain, but also radical activists who funnel millions of dollars to defeat their political opponents at the polls.

With the help of the American taxpayers, here’s how they spent their money in 2024:
Planned Parenthood Action Fund was proud to endorse Democratic candidates Kamala Harris and Tim Walz, and they touted their heavy $70 million investment in the general election towards their efforts to defeat Donald Trump.
A Florida Planned Parenthood chapter allegedly provided the Harris campaign with workspace, which would break tax law, and Kamala Harris even campaigned at a Planned Parenthood in Minnesota.
As if their partisanship was not obvious enough, leading up to the election, Planned Parenthood positioned an abortion bus outside the Democratic National Convention (at which Planned Parenthood’s CEO was a featured speaker) to hand out abortion drugs and perform vasectomies for free.
“There is no daylight between Planned Parenthood and the Democratic Party. They work together to attack their political opponents and push abortion on demand from the states to the federal government.”

Planned Parenthood fought hard to maintain their pro-abortion majority in the Senate. Radical politicians like Tammy Baldwin kept her seat with help from Planned Parenthood’s financial backing. Here are some other infamous Democrats who defeated Republicans with Planned Parenthood’s help:
Planned Parenthood endorsed a laundry list of House candidates to unseat Republicans and prolong Democrat power in districts across America. Just some examples of left-wing candidates they endorsed include:
In November 2024, radical abortion amendments were put on the ballot in 11 different states across the U.S. These ballot measures would radically expand abortion up until birth, with no limits, paid for by taxpayers. Planned Parenthood was heavily involved in these schemes and contributed significant resources to pass Florida’s radical abortion measure.
During the campaign for Amendment 4, the abortion-on-demand amendment that failed on the ballot in 2024, Planned Parenthood alone spent over $7 million and gave over $1.3 million in “in-kind” donations, mostly staff time.
Despite being out-funded 10 to one, the pro-life movement defeated Planned Parenthood’s all-trimester abortion amendment. This was in large part thanks to Gov. Ron DeSantis who campaigned against the measure and informed Floridians what was at stake.
As Planned Parenthood’s political investments have increased, their health care services have significantly decreased. According to their latest annual report, cancer screenings, breast exams and pap smears have all dropped by more than 70%. Even their contraception services are down by 39%.
“Planned Parenthood’s actions make it clear: this organization is not in the business of health care. Rather, it is a political machine with a singular focus on pushing abortion and using its considerable resources to influence elections.
“Americans deserve to know the truth behind the organization’s operations — one that prioritizes politics and profit over the safety of women, girls, and babies in the womb.”
