Washington, D.C. – Today Susan B. Anthony Pro-Life America Candidate Fund announced its endorsement of Republican Brian Strickland for attorney general of Georgia.

“We are honored to endorse Brian Strickland, a proven champion pro-life voters can depend on,” said SBA Pro-Life America President Marjorie Dannenfelser. “For years, Georgia has boldly protected babies in the womb as soon as their heartbeat is detected – a landmark victory Brian worked to advance as a state senator. But Georgia’s pro-life laws and culture are under constant attack. A strong, fearless attorney general is essential to defend the will of the people after Dobbs, with threats like dangerous mail-order abortion drugs and the Left’s pro-abortion lawfare. Brian has been a longtime leader in these fights since before the Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade. And he will always stand with life-affirming pregnancy centers against attempts to intimidate and shut them down. Early voting is underway now and we encourage pro-life Georgians statewide to get out to the polls and support Brian Strickland in the May 19 primary.”

Strickland served in the Georgia House of Representatives from 2013-2018 and then in the state Senate, where he sponsored legislation to prohibit distribution of abortion drugs by mail. Read more about his background here.
