Premier Pro-Life Field Program to Make 500,000 Visits to Voters Across Hawkeye State  

Des Moines, Iowa – Today Susan B. Anthony Pro-Life America and Women Speak Out PAC announced they are dedicating $3.2 million to visit 500,000 Hawkeye State voters at their homes by Election Day to elect pro-life leaders in Iowa. The groups will be engaged in U.S. Senate and House races as well as the race for governor.

Led by veteran State Director Marlene Downing, the groups’ field effort will be focused primarily in Des Moines, Davenport and Cedar Rapids, deploying hundreds of canvassers and targeting pro-life voters who do not consistently vote in midterm elections as well as persuadable voters. The campaign will also include digital advertising, voter contact mail and a robust early vote campaign as the races progress.

SBA Pro-Life America has the largest grassroots pro-life voter contact program in the country. In the six election cycles since 2014, the program has reached 31 million voters across the top battleground states. The Iowa campaign is part of an overall $80 million investment for the 2026 midterm cycle to reach 10.5 million voters nationally in the nation’s most competitive House, Senate, and gubernatorial battlegrounds.

SBA Pro-Life America Candidate Fund is endorsing Ashley Hinson for U.S. Senate and Mariannette Miller-Meeks for re-election to Congress.

SBA Pro-Life America President Marjorie Dannenfelser, on the ground in Iowa, praised Hinson and Miller-Meeks for their leadership and urged Iowans to support pro-life champions across the ballot:

“Ashley Hinson is a tremendous champion for unborn babies and their mothers and will hit the ground running in the U.S. Senate upon the retirement of pro-life Senator Joni Ernst. Hinson introduced the Pregnant Students’ Rights Act, which recently passed the House, to ensure that moms on campus are informed of the life-affirming resources available to them. Sadly, Democrats in Washington today prioritize abortion on demand over all else including real choices and support for women. We need voices like Hinson’s to speak for the people and fight back against extremism.

“Mariannette Miller-Meeks understands every life is precious and she consistently votes and speaks out to protect the unborn and women from abortion. As a physician, veteran, legislator and mom, she is a tireless advocate for the lives and health of Iowans and all Americans. At a time when Joe Biden’s Covid-era rules still allow mail-order abortion drugs to flood even pro-life states like Iowa, taking more lives than fentanyl and other drugs combined, leadership like hers is more vital than ever.

“Both Reps. Miller-Meeks and Hinson hold an A+ on our National Pro-Life Scorecard for their outstanding records. Both were instrumental in delivering a landmark victory, the Working Families Tax Cut Act, which defunded the Big Abortion industry of half a billion in taxpayer dollars for the first time in history.

Planned Parenthood is America’s largest abortion business. Four Iowa Planned Parenthoods have closed since the Big Abortion industry was defunded by the Working Families Tax Cuts passed by Congress and signed by President Trump last year. Only two Planned Parenthoods remain in Iowa, in Des Moines and Iowa City. An analysis by Charlotte Lozier Institute shows before the closures, community health centers where women on Medicaid can receive care outnumbered Planned Parenthoods in the state 28 to 1.
