2nd Term Agenda Includes Transforming the Courts, Signing Major Pro-life Legislation into Law, & Fully Defunding the Abortion Industry
Washington, D.C. – In a letter to pro-life leaders and activists today President Donald J. Trump highlights the pro-life accomplishments of his administration, calls out the abortion extremism of his Democratic opponent Joe Biden, and outlines his pro-life policy commitments for a second term.
SBA List President Marjorie Dannenfelser, who serves as national co-chair of Pro-Life Voices for Trump alongside Christina Bennett, praised the letter and President Trump’s leadership in a statement:
“In 2016 then-candidate Donald Trump’s groundbreaking written commitments were instrumental to mobilizing pro-life voters to propel him to victory. During his first term, President Trump has become the most pro-life president our nation has ever seen. But there is more work to be done and that is why the pro-life movement is working vigorously to secure four more years for President Trump and Vice President Pence.
“President Trump’s letter is further proof of pro-life momentum heading into this pivotal election, following the most explicitly pro-life Republican convention ever – in stark contrast to the Democrats who were too afraid to even utter the word ‘abortion.’ Joe Biden and Kamala Harris’s support for abortion on-demand, paid for by taxpayers is extreme, immoral, and will prove to be a loser at the ballot box.”
The letter comes as the Republican National Convention prominently featured pro-life speakers such as former Planned Parenthood director turned pro-life advocate Abby Johnson; Covington Catholic High School graduate Nick Sandmann; Sister Deirdre Byrne, a Catholic nun and medical doctor who served in the U.S. Army Medical Corps; former Notre Dame football coach Lou Holtz; human rights activist Chen Guangcheng; and more. In contrast, speakers at the Democratic National Convention avoided the topic of abortion.
