WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today the Susan B. Anthony List Candidate Fund congratulated Leslie Rutledge, candidate for Attorney General in Arkansas, on winning tonight’s primary runoff. The SBA List Candidate Fund endorsed Rutledge in May.
“We can count on Leslie Rutledge to defend the state’s current and future pro-life laws that protect unborn children, women, and taxpayers,” said SBA List Candidate Fund President Marjorie Dannenfelser. “With Planned Parenthood and its allies constantly trying to thwart pro-life laws in the courts, Arkansas must have an Attorney General like Leslie Rutledge who will boldly defend laws that save lives. We are proud to support her candidacy and look forward to her victory in November.”
Leslie Rutledge is an Arkansas lawyer who has spent her career in public service as a prosecutor. In addition, Rutledge has served as Deputy Counsel to the Office of Governor Mike Huckabee, Deputy Counsel for Mike Huckabee’s presidential campaign, Deputy Counsel at the National Republican Congressional Committee, and Counsel for the Republican National Committee. She has received the endorsement of Governor Mike Huckabee.
